As we usher in a new year, we’ve got lots to look forward to at Aston-Mansfield, including welcoming in a new Chair of Trustees and Interim-CEO.

We want to give a very warm welcome to our new Chair, Amanda Whiteford and new interim-CEO Dolyanna Mordochai.

Amanda Whiteford – Chair of Trustees

Amanda Whiteford is an HR professional mainly working in the finance and civil engineering sectors where she has held a number of leadership roles and spent the last 20 years supporting the leadership and management development of others.

Amanda has also been a school governor in both senior and primary schools, a mentor for the Princes Trust and a volunteer and employee of Citizens Advice Southend where she helped set up the first national CAB support line for Nat West’s vulnerable clients.

She lives in Westcliff on Sea with her son and husband, runs a local amateur drama group, is learning to play the piano and enjoys playing tennis.

Dolyanna Mordochai – Interim CEO

Dolyanna is an accomplished senior executive with over 25 years of strategic and operational leadership experience in the Voluntary and Community Sectors as well as Local Government.  Her expertise spans Education, Health and Social Care, with a particular focus on Disability and Autism, Special Educational Needs, Mental Health, and Wellbeing.

Dolyanna’s professional journey began as a volunteer, working her way up through frontline roles to become a Chief Executive. Her career is deeply inspired by her commitment to equality, empowerment, and ambition for those whose lives have been impacted by disability, trauma, or exclusion.

Over the years, she has had the privilege of leading small, community-facing organizations and teams, as well as large national and international charities.
