On Wednesday 18th February, some of our young people from our Harold Road youth session volunteered at a community event held at Queens Road market in Green Street. The aim of this event was to promote youth activities in the local area and to build community cohesion.

The young people volunteered to make and cook pizzas with the local community – gaining skills including customer service, food hygiene, time management and teamwork.

Special thanks also to Cherelle who managed to get the pizza oven donated for free!

The event was enjoyed by all, and our young people are looking forward to another opportunity for them to volunteer at the next market games event over the Easter holidays.
